- 1157 style signals work on bikes WITHOUT a brake light on the rear fender. Your stock rear turn signals should function as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. These have 2 contacts at the base of the bulb.
- For bikes WITH a brake light on the rear fender you will need the 1156 style signals. These have one contact at the base of the bulb.
